Seagoth is the Liverpool based DIY psychedelic-pop band consisting of multi-instrumentalist, producer and lead vocalist Georgia Ochoa, bassist & vocalist Hannah Gannon & drummer Oscar Hellewell. They treated their listeners to the single ‘Eternity’ in February 2021, this was an assured follow on from their previous release ‘Dreamworld’. ‘Eternity’ supports their introspective message about self reflection and expands on their ever growing dream-pop anchor. “Kaleidoscopic vocal electronica”. - The Times. As heard on BBC Radio, Soho Radio, AmazingRadio & more.
In June they released their glam-rock inspired single ‘Queen’, followed by a DIY music video to complete their message. ‘Queen’ is Ochoa’s comment on the constant demoralisation young women have to face and the consensus that the actions and words of women are less important than those of men.
This was followed up by the release of their politically charged anathema ‘Amorphous’ in October. By creating a lush soundscape for their own nostalgic indifference, they’re creating a soundtrack for a generational conversation that needs to be had. As well as providing rays of hazy optimism, Seagoth will also supply you with a reservoir of lyrical resolution.
