Birthed from the Hackney Wick warehouse scene, London multi-instrumentalists Platypus Complex entwine their rich respective backgrounds, disciplines and influences through unbridled hours of jamming. Consisting of Alice (guitar and vocals), Daisy (percussion, guitar, bass & vocals), Mabel (drums), Nell (violin), and Rachel (bass, percussion & keys), the close-knit group’s on-stage chemistry has been capturing the attention of music fans across the capital and further afield, including that of on-the-pulse South Coast label Strong Island Recordings.
